Edgee launches IntelliJ IDEA with its GitHub Copilot plugin routed through the gateway. Keep using your Copilot subscription. IntelliJ IDEA and its Copilot plugin must already be available.

Install the Edgee CLI

Launch GitHub Copilot in IntelliJ IDEA through Edgee

Open IntelliJ IDEA Copilot (Edgee) from your app menu. See desktop shortcuts for availability on your platform.
Edgee starts sign-in automatically if needed. Follow the prompts and select your organization when asked.
Send a request from the Copilot plugin. If Edgee cannot find IntelliJ, put its launcher on PATH or set EDGEE_INTELLIJ_BINARY to the IDE executable path.

Verify the connection

Send a request, then open Logs in the same Edgee organization. Check its model, provider, and usage. Open Sessions to inspect the coding session. If requests are missing, confirm you launched through Edgee and used the supported surface described above. For desktop apps, close any existing instance and relaunch through Edgee. See Troubleshooting.
